Target Word® – a FREE SPEECH PATHOLOGY program to help parents and carers build their children’s expressive vocabulary.  

Run by 1 of EarlyEd’s Target Word Certified Speech Pathologist

Is your child a late talker? Concerned?
This free program is available to any parent of an eligible child who: 

• is living in Northern or Western Sydney
• is aged under 2.5 years
• hasn’t started childcare yet
• is a late talker i.e. communicates messages to you but does not use as many words as other children their age
• understands what you say, can take turns and play but not using as many words as you would expect
• vocabulary is limited and is not using multiple two-word combinations.

ONLINE PROGRAM DATES:  

Term 4: 27 September – 15 November

(The program runs over 10–12 weeks.) 

TIME: Wed 12–2pm  

COST: FREE  

(Funded under the NSW Dept Ed Start Strong Pathways Program) 

DETAILS: 

• 1 individual consultation before the program begins will be held online 
• 5 small group sessions with other parents
• Two individual video feedback sessions
