MyTime

MyTime Groups

MyTime groups are for parents and their children who have additional needs such as a disability or developmental delay.  Attendance does not affect NDIS funding and provides parents an opportunity to meet with professional support personnel and other families in similar circumstances. Preschool children and their younger siblings are welcome and will be engaged by a therapist whilst parents have time to talk and share.

The facilitators of our MyTime groups are trained professionals and also have access to additional resources to meet the needs of group attendees. MyTime provides support for parents and carers of a child with a disability or chronic medical condition.  It’s a place for parents to unwind and talk about their experiences.  Experienced educators and therapists will help you find out how you can best support your child.  You can also find research based parenting information and learn new skills.  By looking after your own wellbeing, you are looking after your child.
