This week we are celebrating Children’s week.  Children’s Week is an annual event held in Australia and celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood.  The theme for Children’s week 2021 is Children have the right to choose their own friends and safely connect with others. 

In honour of Children’s Week the book we will be reading during Online Storytime is about 2 friends John and Jane who discover a pear in the pear tree. They use their ladder to reach the pear, however their quest to pick the pear doesn’t go to plan.
