Community Partners Make The Difference
EarlyEd recognises that we are just one of many community organisations supporting children and families in our local areas. This is why we walk beside families and community groups to help include children with developmental delays and disabilities in their everyday experiences. We reach out to families so they can get the right support at the right time, helping them navigate the waters and find what they need for their child.
We understand how challenging it can be for families and organisations to find information and know where to go for help. By partnering with local communities, we share valuable information and ensure families have access to the resources they need. We build the capacity of organisations to support all children in accessing and participating in playgroups, while also building trust with families to understand their needs.
For more information about our partnerships, visit our partner page. To partner with us and organise a visit to your playgroup, email services at EarlyEd and ask for the Start Strong Team Leader. Partnering with EarlyEd is funded through Start Strong Pathways and grants we obtain.
We are grateful to our local councils—Cumberland, North Sydney, and City of Parramatta—for enabling much of this work.
Two of our main Start Strong Pathways partners are Play For All Australia and The Huddle. Click this link to find out about these partners and others.
