Our programmes
Early Learners – is a play-based programme designed to assist children to develop the early skills that are the building blocks for development. We plan activities that foster skills in several developmental areas and offer children and families the opportunity to learn together within a small group setting.
School Readiness – groups focussing on the skills children need for a successful transition to school are run for children in the year before they start school. A programme addressing the needs of parents in this vital transition period is offered while the children are in group.
Individual sessions – our early childhood special educators and therapists work with families to offer individual sessions depending on the needs of the child and family.
Home & Community visits – can be tailored to your family's needs. They can provide an opportunity to explore ways to use daily routines as opportunities for learning; to develop a plan to address challenging behaviour; or to assist your child/family to become involved in an everyday community activity.
Support to Childcare / Preschool – we are able to offer a consultancy service to support your child in their preschool or long day care centre. We work to assist the staff in those services ensure your child is included in all aspects of the programme.
Family Support & Education – includes parent groups, siblings support groups, workshops, information sessions and assistance with behavioural issues.
Resource Library – has toys, books and videos available for borrowing. Loans can be arranged through staff at each centre.
Mobile Playgroup – is for families living in Auburn/Holroyd with a child aged 0 – 6, who are concerned about a delay in their child’s development or are on a waiting list for early childhood intervention services. Mobile playgroup is run by an early childhood special educator together with members of the EarlyEd therapy team.
